The most simply gorgeous day in every way. Travelling over to the little island from Nanaimo is such a treat in itself through the dense forest with speckled light beams coming through the trees- it is truly magical.
With the waves lightly crashing in the background, Molly and Justin said “I do” underneath a hazy August sky brought on by the seasons wildfires. There was something surreal about the atmosphere that day. The dreamy light wrapped everything up like a warm blessing.
The views at Dragon’s Lodge were breathtaking; the day was such a calm effortless vibe and personalized to this beautiful couple. The lodge has enough accommodations for a small group to stay all together at the property and have a wedding weekend of celebrations together. I love venues like this where everyone can stay together and spend more time with special people they often don’t get to spend enough time with.
